What to expect

These Early Years Music Classes are based on the philosophy of Shinchi Suzuki, sometimes referred to as the Mother Tongue Method, or Talent Education.

There are seven guiding principles but the most important are that Every Child Can Learn, Ability Develops Early and Environment Nurtures Growth.

So in these classes we will together create an environment where our children can learn and develop skills through the medium of songs and musical activities.

As a parent you are encouraged to fully participate in the class with and alongside your child.

Some of the songs and rhymes will be familiar to you – join in heartily!

Some of the songs and rhymes may be less familiar to you – join in heartily!

There will be lots of repetition and you will come to know the music inside out.

What to bring

You will be most comfortable without shoes – but remember to bring some socks.
