Testimonials

Everyone talks about the importance of the ’early years’ for all children. I feel that the Long Marston Playgroup has provided an environment which has allowed my two children to thrive. The space provided in a rural setting allowed Ryan to run and run and run. That was when he wasn’t making giants or pretending to be a dragon. For Anna a safe place to explore, and draw and become herself. And for me… a place to gain support, make friends, have a chat and enjoy a bit of banter. It comes thoroughly recommended – five stars.

Both my children have thoroughly enjoyed their time at playgroup and this is testament to the creative staff. Along with investigating aspects of nature around the village, regular play outside and fantastic adventures inside, their experience of food has been broadened by trying different snacks. I would, and have recommended the playgroup to my mummy friends and will miss it enormously.

At Long Marston Preschool, the children sense that they are being cared for, not just looked after

Parents’ Questionnaire, June 2012

My son has loved attending Long Marston Playgroup, it has set him up well to begin school as a happy and confident little boy. The playgroup catered for all his needs with a large variety of toys, equipment and daily creative activities to engage him. The playgroup also has a large outside area which was fantastic for my energetic son. Penny and the team create a warm loving environment and always kept me updated on things that had happened during the session. I happily recommend Long Marston Playgroup and will be sending my daughter when she is old enough.

If it wasn’t for Playgroup, as a newcomer to the area, I wouldn’t have become part of the local community and my children would have missed out on friendships that helped them integrate into school.

Long Marston Preschool will be talked about by my children for years to come. They have such fond memories of wonderful activities: collecting conkers, playing in the snow, kicking through piles of leaves, practising for the Olympics as well as the fun, laughter and love they received from the staff – Penny, Diane, Teresa and Mandy. I would thoroughly recommend it to everyone!

At Long Marston Preschool, each child is treated as an individual.

Parents’ Questionnaire, June 2012

Long Marston Playgroup was such a wonderful pre-school experience for my son, allowing his confidence to grow in a supportive and caring environment. The experiences he enjoyed and the creative and positive environment that the staff maintain week in, week out was an enormously happy time for him and one we look back on fondly. The Playgroup’s sense of community and the friendships that are made between the children and the parents is invaluable.
